As well, a focus on integrating the principles of breathing (pranayama) with movements of the body.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Bikram classes rarely feature the suggestion to "always leave the room if you are feeling overheated" most people feel overheated in the room, at least at first.  Rather the admonishment is to always be mindful of your own state of being, stay in the room and take a break, if not standing then seated is preferable, with head above heart level, and relax until you can rejoin the class.
