Rejuvenated downtown area near the Coliseum, aggressive plans for building out their public transit infrastructure, and they already have a venue that's been used for 2 prior Olympiads with great success.

There's no way San Francisco can or should compete with that. Total waste of money for us to consider that. But with Mayor Ed "Give-It-Away-For-Free" Lee as our mayor, who knows what'll happen.

Re: Instagram Now Crashes 5 Times a Day and It's Driving Me Crazy

I've been having some crashing issues but chalked it up to bugs with iOS 6.

Anyway, for me, I notice the crash always happens when taking a photo within Instagram. I've resorted to importing photos from the camera role for now and haven't had any issues otherwise. Switch over to camera mode within the app and BOOM. Crash.

Hint: In the new version of Instagram, a long press on the camera button will automagically open up your camera role.

Re: Meet Chase Bank, Your New Divisadero Neighbor — Maybe | Haighteration - The Lower Haight Blog

I'll be honest, I would LOVE this! It's a pretty impressive accessory. The website advertises 24 *hours* of talk-time? That's ridiculous. What is the capacity of the battery in that case? I couldn't find it on their website.
