Chili! They're famous for their chili. They have Texas-style, Cincinnati-style, Terlingua Red, and Vegetarian Chili. You can add toppings (cheese, sour cream, etc); you can have it on spaghetti, corn bread, fritos, fries; or you can have it in a tortilla! Crazy good stuff. They bring a sampler of the chili out before you order so you can decide which you like best.

Well, there are some in the kitchen in the building to the left. Some out in the fields. Some in the laundry (next to the kitchen). And probably even a few in the house serving the family.

Interesting that many of our "famous" founding fathers had slaves and yet hated the fact that they had to have slaves. George Mason's plantation, for example, had over 100 people on the plantation and wouldn't have been economically viable if he had to PAY all those people. It was bad enough he had to provide food, shelter and clothing for all of them.

Well, here's the problem Bill ... we DO take her out. When we're home, we take her out at LEAST every hour. We've got another dog (almost 2 years old), so we've been through training recently. We know her signs and can catch her when we're around. We also keep her in a cage/crate when we're not home. She can hold it for at least six hours, because she does every night.

The REAL problem is that we take her out to pee and 15 minutes later, she pees more in the house. We can't physically or realistically watch her every second of every day ... so it's frustrating that she's just not picking it up ... or that she doesn't care and pees whenever/wherever she wants anyway. We'll get there, but there are times that are SUPER frustrating because I'd like to spend SOME time at home doing something besides watching the puppy or taking her outside. ugh.
