I couldn't find the hoodie anywhere on the net, so I made the one above using CafePress. The Cheetos can be picked up at your local supermarket or service station. The undies can be picked up at any local discount department store e.g., Wal-Mart, Target.

If you have slim fitting flat front khakis this just happens naturally as you roll them. However, if you're working with pleated or extra baggy khakis, you may start looking like a stooge when you try to roll the bottoms. The triangle that occurs is more of a taper from waist to ankle. And this is more flattering than the rectangle that occurs from waist to ankle when your pants are wide at the bottom.

I've just considered the scuffs character, and the rips, well, extra character. If you only have one pair, and you want them looking fresh when you go out high steppin' on the town, I'd recommend a nylon brush (or toothbrush) and some fabric shampoo (or dishwashing liquid). You might also want to try scrubbing with a little baking soda.

Your grandfather seems like a wise man. And it sounds like you have a nice collection of watches. Another great thing about watches (besides the fact that they make you look cool), is that they really can live in your family for years. I sure as hell don't plan on passing down my iPhone.

It might be worth looking into the bags from Ellington. I live in Portland, OR. and every time I visit their store I'm amazed by their selection. And I have a couple bags from them that are holding up very well.
