Who’s next?

Through out the history Russia was protecting these "independent" countries. Georgia asked to become a part of Russian Empire to get protection from Osmans (Turkish Empire) and they got the protection. Now Georgian president is in bed with America, so Russia is bad...Time will come and they will say the same thing about America, and turn to someone else.

Osetia declared independence in 90s, world did not care. Yet America and Europe cared about Kosovo, Croatia, Bosnia. Why Osetia is different? Why America takes side of Georgia now, when it did not take side of Serbia, when Yugoslav provinces declared their independecies?

Lastly - Georgia, not Osetia or Russia started firing at peaceful towns in Osetia. Osetia has the right to protect itself, with or without russian help. And you, well fed smart asses, sitting in your comfortable chairs thousands of miles away, what the hell do you know about realities of foreign countries, struggle, agression and suffering?
