Yep; sometimes bein' a mite colorful is its own reward, wouldn't ya say?

Re: What I learned from children

Personally, I think it's innocence and acceptance that drives most little children. Unfortunately, we adults are so sophisticated, we often go too far in the other direction!

Hey, thanks and a tip o' the hat for the WILF entry, Todd!

Re: Win A Mophie Juice Pack Air!

I'd love to have this gizmo - I'm going for two weeks to Brazil in November and could use the extended battery life to take more photos on the trip! Sadly, the current battery life doesn't last that long when I'm feelin' inspired!

Re: How Blogging Affected My Offline Interaction

Actually, I think you could classify her as a sortof blogger without a blog, if you get my meanin'. I've been tryin' to coax her to write for a while now, though. But she is definitely my encourager!

Re: How Blogging Affected My Offline Interaction

Hey, my offline life hasn't changed all that much, Jan. Nope; always pretty much normal stuff, y'know?

Well, except for the fact that anytime we take note of anything of even the remotest interestingness, the Mrs. will nudge me with a "you should blog about that!" comment. Otherwise, everything's pretty much the same. (rolls eyes) :-D

Re: Nominate Your Favorite Writing Blog: 4th Annual Top Top 10 Blogs for Writers Contest

I'd like to nominate Joanna Young at Confident Writing - http://confidentwriting.com/

Re: Why I Twitter

I think you summed up the same for me, Jackie. I just like that connection, y'know? Read this.

I sometimes wonder if the cause of pretty much ALL stress is getting things "out of sequence", you know? God has His priorities, and we have ours, and too often, they don't - quite - match up very well - if at all. The result? Stress! Well, duh! (sound of slapping forehead)

On the other hand, the counterintuitive step, "slow down", is the one that's hardest for most of us, though. And what's worse; it takes a step of faith to actually, you know, do it!

But oh, the rewards!
