Hi Frederik,

The index.php is the only file which has the pagination added into it. The portions I have added into it have been commented, so you can easily add them in yourself. As I do not use this theme anymore, I havent really dived into it in a while. Hopefully this can get you started though.

For the full width post setup, it shouldn't make a difference.

Sadly, there is no simple fix for this one. Internet explorer will require some special CSS to make it appear perfectly in that browser. I do not have the code to solve this one. It would take me quite a while to troubleshoot it.

Out of curiosity, what version of IE were you looking at this through?

Its tough to say without actually seeing your site.

On a link like xyz.com/page/2 if wordpress is not displaying it, it usually means the system is not understanding the link itself. In cases like that it can be things like permalinks are not working correctly.

If this is directly having to do with the read more button, then I would definitely have to see the site to make sure things are working correctly.

Off the top of my head I really dont know the solution for your problem.

Calling timthumb inside the post for each picture seems redundant to me. Since I'm not using magazeen anymore I'm unsure of the solution for this one.

For one. The reason archive.php shows up is because the image is showing up Not Found. Without looking over your shoulder, I can't say how you're uploading the images.

If the image is really where its supposed to be, then there is a major naming conflict with wordpress. Either having to do with the htaccess or the path to the file and the possible folders you have in the path conflicting with Wordpress's naming schema.

Try checking into those things. Maybe someone else who regularly visits this page will have a better idea of how to fix it.

1. I have been toying with Disqus on a few websites. I personally like the integration options with various social networks. It really depends on the sites purpose. For a site like mine, where its blogging only it is a good fit.

2. Yeah, you will have to re-add whatever code you modified on your previous version of Magazeen. The plugins/etc will still be active, although I imagine some will require you to add bits of code to make them visible.

3. The code you pasted here looks like a header.php from the Wordpress core files and not the theme itself. If you have a look in the Magazeen theme folder, you will see the correct header.php code. In particular this section:

div id="logo"

h2/a /h1

</div>

I suggest exchanging the h1 .... /h1 for something like this: h1 img src="http://www.mysite.com/wp-content/theme/magazeen/images/mylogo.jpg" / /h1>

This is obviously a bit of a rough idea of what you would want to do though. I had to remove a few of the HTML brackets on here, because diqus was trying to process them on the page itself.

(For the HTML compliance folks who read this, I'm retaining the H1 tag for simplicity sake and to retain the CSS styles already implemented within it.)

Hi, I tried your URl, it was not loading for me.

My suggestion is to check the 'cache' folder and make sure it is CHMOD to 775 and if 775 does not work, try 777.

The images I believe require GD to process them and change them into thumbnails. So, make sure your host has it installed.

I agree, its a theme which probably was not field tested. Although I've been working out the kinks for everyone.

When I looked at the picture itself: http://www.callieproperty.c... I am getting an error.

A couple suggestions: Either the link to the image was not put in below where you fill in the content of your post. Or the cache folder was not chmod to 777.

There is also a possibility that your host does not have imagemagick or GD image tools installed, but I doubt it. Most do.

Hopefully that can lead you in the right direction.

Sorry for the delayed response.

Unfortunately its tough for me to say what exactly is going wrong with your site. I do not see any posts in there. Plus any custom work you have done has the possibility of messing up the pagination add-on work I have done to the theme.

If I run into a dead end like this, I always suggest starting over fresh so you know everything is working right.

Sorry for the delay. Looks as though your thumbnails are working now.

Usually there are two reasons the thumbnails wont work. Either the host does not have imagemagick installed (which is unlikely) or the folder holding the images did not have the correct permissions.

Hi Scherene, For someone who is not a coder I will attempt to explain this as easily as possible. :)

The index.php file for the theme is actually broken into three separate areas for each block of posts.

You'll want to look for this section (which starts on line 204):

Then lastly you will have to change one more line for the posts to stay in the correct order:

From: query_posts( 'showposts=4&offset=6' );

To: query_posts( 'showposts=4&offset=2' );

You can change the 'showposts' amount to more if you want more title only posts.

Hopefully this is helpful in getting you going on this.

I felt the same way in Aion Beta. This game's biggest pit-fall is the grind... Its just insane to think you're going to be grinding for hours on end. Its the reason I stopped playing this game in the Beta.

I actually answered this in a similar post up above. You have to physically modify the index.php file. Here it is again for you:

Alright to make it 8 posts max. You need to have a look at the code towards the bottom of the index.php file. Looks for this:

Change showposts=6 to showposts=4.

If you count all the 'showposts' in the index file, you can get an idea of how many posts will show up total.

Nay sir, You can look at the DAY OF sales numbers and say it sold well, sure. Now look at the long term, which is something you're FAILing to see and won't see for quite a while. Also another figure which isn't posted, but would be very interesting to see is the RMA count on this game. You never see those sales figures in the break down on day of sales. I'd wager this game has had some seriously disturbing amounts of returns.

The concern of this is the multiplayer aspect, which is what brought the first iteration of this game to the top.

I highly doubt the long term success of this game unless IW fixes up the multiplayer aspect.

Next time, please stop being so short sighted and look at the bigger picture.
