I agree, making the post go poof is irresponsible. Digital, in my most humble opinion, should be more diligent in presenting the facts.

Re: Redbox Steps Into the Online Ring With Netflix

I love Redbox and my ONLY problem with them is that they now offer free movie Monday once a month. Otherwise, I think they have a great business model. The convenience of 24,000 dispensers worked to my advantage when I noticed as I was driving out of state that I'd forgotten to return my DVDs only to look up and see a Redbox kiosk at a grocery store off of the highway. Great post and good news, Amani.

Re: Rumor Has it… Veteran Journalist/Editor Mimi Valdes Named Head of Content at BET.com

Shep, I think you've managed to answer your own question. Thank you for the correction. And it's really okay to correct without being offensive. But not the reverse.

Re: African Americans Only 1% of Internet Start-up Founders

Cameron, you're not wrong at all. It's kind of funny, but it almost sounds like a reverse affirmative action. Thankfully, there is a space such as BW 2.0 (yep, I'm biased but honest) to share the journey.

Re: African Americans Only 1% of Internet Start-up Founders

I've been reading this report as I'm writing an interview with a black founder. One of the things that has been articulated to me is that most black founders don't want to be initially identified as "black." They want their work to stand on its own merit. My hope is that this post and the report encourage more black founding teams to identify themselves and even come together for support and to create an ongoing conversation. Great post.

Re: T.I. Love your comment. I remember when I visited your university and had a conversation with one of the deans about the lack of hardware available on-campus and the curriculum. Not to say it can't happen because it can.

Re: Zynga Steps Out and Joins Forces With Google

Me too. Thank you, sir. (bowing) I've been watching the WP for some time now and the increase in verticals and fleshing out of horizontals has been a wonder to watch. The content partnerships are hot. I think a few online pubs need to take notice. From a tech standpoint, it was not only wise but pretty cool. That TV thing LeBron is doing is great for hype but it's not helpful from a PR perspective. I like how Wade and my favorite NBA geek Chris Bosh did it. Wouldn't be surprised if it weren't Bosh's idea.

Re: 7 Ways to Save a Young Boy’s Life with Tech

Hey Mikey|Mike|Michael (lol), I love what you've written.
