Why not use iTunes to bsckup/restore devices? I always bsckup to my imac manually before doing major iOS updates, and it's quicker to restore than icloud.

I didn't know about the £5/month subscription (2 year minimum term), I've just signed up as I've been interested in Hive since it launched & use British Gas for fuel. What we save especially in the winter should pay for itself & more! Tado also offer something similar, but Hive is installed FoC by British Gas, and also controls hot water - not sure if Nest does that?

They are based in HK, the goods come from there so if you get charged for Import Duty you're not really going to save anything. What about somewhere like CEX - £420 for a A condition unlocked device? You've probably got enough old devices in a drawer to trade in against one ;-)

I completely disagree with that table - how can you rate lossy WMA above FLAC & ALAC for audio quality? FLAC/ALAC/WAV/WMA lossless should be 3* as they are bit-perfect, and maybe MP4/OGG as 2* as they probably will perform better than MP3/WMA for a given bitrate.

Do you not have a Sky account? Once you've installed the app or logged in once, you never see the landing page. Utterly seamless like O2 & completely puts BT Openzone to shame.

You're so right about 3 and 2G data, hopefully they will sort this out soon...?

Still not as good as the deal 3 did - £17/month for 24 months for a Desire, 100min/texts & internet. I think they shifted a lot of handsets with that offer!

For anyone who checked the TNT tracking site (Junecloud - Delivery Status app, http://junecloud.com/), it was pretty obvious it was coming today. Even Apple Tracking eventually updated yesterday evening to say delievered tomorrow. When I placed my order, Apple said "We expect your order to be delivered to your shipping address on or before 28.05.2010", which they did admirably.

Hold *, 3 & Green Handset buttons whole turning on. It will completely wipe the phone, but should get it working again.
