(it's very important to note that when corporations were originally given status as "individual", there were powerful limitations placed upon them. they were given a "life span", so to speak, and were mandated to be dissolved at a reasonable future date- which would limit their potential for destructive impact upon, not only, the economy, but all of humanity, as well.)

we have lost sight of the fact that we, the people, grant power to those who would rule us. and it is crystal clear that international corporations, through the greed based system of stock ownership (wall street, the new york stock exchange) has blinded us to the fact that our own greed is at the base of our victimization by power mongers, be they: giant agribusiness, industrial-military complex, information disbursement through a monopolized press (owned by several major corporations), a centralized banking system (who's main purpose is to inflict debt as a major form of enslavement), privatized penal system (which fuels "the war on drugs" and incarcerates the chronically poor for minor crimes committed as acts of survival), the automobile industry (which in the united states, refuses to turn to readily available, alternatives), the oil industry (which keeps us suppressed and addicted to fossil fuels- to the detriment of our ecosystem)- the list goes on and on.

we have lost control of our world. companies like monsanto thrive because we allow them to. our politicians are bought and paid for by corporate interests while we all sit in our living rooms watching our big screen tv's, eating our processed foods and filling our gas swilling- environment polluting cars. and al the while the corporations become more and more powerful. benito mousolini invented fascism. it is system designed to control the wealth and power for the few and to control the masses by monopolizing our resources: food, energy information and finances.

it may be too late to turn the tide. but unless we do, we condemn future generations to enslavement by the corporate state.
