Richard Giles is the CEO of <a href="http://recommendationventures.com/">Recommendation Ventures</a>, which provides a recommendation platform via a web service to any web sites. Richard has been in the technology industry for over 15 years, and was an Australian web pioneer in the early-nineties designing corporate websites in 1994. He later worked for Sun Microsystems for nine years, and has since authored two books, won awards for podcasts, consulted, and spoken to a variety of organizations about the emerging Internet. Richard's achievements include winning the Best Australian Podcast of the Year 2006, authoring <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Podcasting-Pocket-Guide-Kirk-McElhearn/dp/0596102305">Podcasting Pocket Guide</a>, and <a href="http://www.amazon.com/How-Use-Flickr-Photography-Revolution/dp/1598631373">How To Use Flickr: The Digital Photography Revolution</a>, and launching the <a href="http://scouta.com">Scouta</a> web site.
