Though the racist Trump will not be sworn in ("I Donald 'grab-them-by-the-pu**y' Trump do solemnly swear...") until January 20 he has already separated himself from the majority of Americans who did not vote for him by trashing the Democratic Party Senate leader Chuck Schumer and railed against one of the most accomplished and popular actors of our generation, Meryl Streep.

One can argue that it's a good or bad start to his presidency. It's a fantastic start if you're one of the Breitbart-National Policy Institute-white supremacist faction who voted for the KKK-endorsed Trump.

Yadda, yadda, yes we know all the "erudite" words written by fine writers like Bill Fletcher and Bob Wing and their insightful explanations. We've been hearing all the recriminations in the aftermath of the "we won, you lost."

I did not watch a single MSNBC political program such as Hardball for 3 weeks after the disaster in which we (yes we) put this psychopath, grab-them-by-the-pu**y racist Donald Trump in the White House because honestly, I was stunned.

Yes, America lost but maybe we need to recognize the real power in numbers when it comes to racism that has been simmering ever since the black man and his family had the temerity to occupy the KKK's and white America's White House.

I have referred to the 21st Century Republican Party as the Apartheid Republican Party for years now but there are some hard facts that we need to face as a society that was founded on the principles and tenets embedded in the U.S. Constitution.

That reality is, there are many white Democrats who wrap themselves in their pious attitude that they are on the side of the working stiff, the blacks and Hispanics and even the champions of the civil rights of Muslim-Americans. But in fact, there are plenty of Democrats who are closet Apartheid Party Republicans.

Nobody can tell me after watching and hearing the slipstream of comments coming from so-called Rust Belt states like Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania that these mostly white voters didn't have more than a bellyful of the self-righteousness spouted by Hillary Clinton and her followers (I was one of the followers) whose coronation as the nation's first female president was a slam-dunk.

Which party was it in 2008 that squealed for the bankruptcies of the Big 3 automakers, Ford, Chrysler and GM? Yet, these same white Rust Belt state folks swallowed the Art of The Con and still believe, based on interviews after the election, that the lying, Tweeter-In-Chief will bring back all those millions of jobs from China, India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, etc.

The "bonus" of course will include expelling millions of brown-skinned people, building a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border (paid for by the Mexican government), a roundup, euphemistically referred to as vetting of Muslim-Americans and anyone associated with those swarthy-skinned Islamic folks (Ann Coulter's term for people from the Middle East), slapping huge tariffs on imported goods from China and other countries that the billionaires decades ago tapped for their cheap labor.

Of course it's all the fault of the "anti-colonial, Marxist-Socialist, Luo, Mau-Mau Kenyan tribesman who has a 'different world view'" Barack Obama's fault. But during the election, the nation's woes are specifically the fault of Hillary Clinton's 30 years in public service positions.

No matter that those who are in charge of every dime of taxpayer appropriations are Republicans whose leadership stated that number one priority was not the concerns and needs of the American people but instead it was to make him a one-term president.

But, the demagoguery worked and the endless stream of lies, xenophobia, racism and misogyny pouring forth from the white supremacist, Breitbart conspiracy nut jobs were honed to perfection and they got their Imperial Wizard into the White House on November 8.

Those jobs, Trump promised (as his nose got longer and longer), will come back with "terrific" pay and return our country to the halcyon days of Thornton Wilder's Grover's Corners and the bucolic, idyllic world of Norman Rockwell's fictional America depicted on the magazine covers of the Saturday Evening Post.

Don't blame it all on the Rust Belt state white folks though. Blame it on the DNC's myopic campaign message that insisted on the inevitability of America's first female president which many voters (mostly female) believed were "destiny" votes that would ensconce Hillary Clinton into the White House.

The hard reality is, America has always perceived itself as a warrior nation whose hegemony should not be questioned or challenged. It's what the Apartheid Republican Party has embraced as their right to protect the Anglo-European heritage, read white, American Exceptionalism, Manifest Destiny role in the world that yearns for yesteryear and a machismo great white savior to fulfill their rotted manifesto which is subservient to the military industrial welfare state.

The Apartheid Republican Party's faux and hypocritical "Judaeo-Christian" Caucasian values will not tolerate or accept the lofty words written by Emma Lazarus' eloquent poem in The New Colossus. The billionaire Trump has reminded us more than once of his superior genes and his intent to shut out the Mother of Exiles. Which elated his white supremacist hordes.

The racist, profane, grab-them-by-the-pu**y, KKK-endorsed Donald Trump, with all of his lies, slanders, demagoguery, threats against the free and open press and free speech are a sad and pathetic throwback to a world that never was. It is a world that fearful white America cannot accept or tolerate, the non-white "huddled masses yearning to breathe free" and one which the "lamp beside the golden door" will soon be extinguished.

Mike, of course we are preaching to the choir. The hypocrisy and flat-out lying is breathtaking when you consider the 2011 Budget Control Act, aka sequester, in which Republicans passed by a vote of 174-95. That legislation called for equal cuts from defense and domestic programs.

It was immediately violated and even the 2017 budget still retains all the obsolete military equipment and aircraft, all the wasteful overseas base spending and the bloated, outrageous commissary privileges and taxpayer subsidies that heap more money into freebies for obsolete systems.

bob, I got by on my federal pay and benefits for over 40 years. Don't expect anything other than contempt for federal workers from congress who always go after the low-hanging fruit government agencies with the exception of the military.

Both political parties have done a masterful job at demonizing the federal workforce as if they weren't working for the same government as the U.S. military who are revered. I am not ashamed though that I worked for the United States of America, country that I always believed that we are great in spite of some of the current demagogues who think otherwise.

We also know indisputably that Donald Trump said he could walk down 5th Avenue and shoot a person dead in the street and his white supremacist acolytes, disingenuously and falsely dubbed by the gullible mainstream media as blue collar workers, wouldn't care. Therein lies the mogul billionaire Trump's mole-visioned agenda and rotted ideology.

That is the real danger for our country, that one person who launched his political fortunes on the lie and slander that President Barack Obama not only wasn't a legitimate American citizen but he didn't even possess a valid birth certificate, can rule by decree. Isn't it far too late to start whining over Anti-Muslim Hate when that was the signature issue that brought out the Apartheid Republican Party's white supremacist base which was reinforced by Trump's slanderous propaganda that America's first black president Barack Obama wasn't even a legitimate U.S. citizen?

It's now settled. America is ruled by an openly boastful demagogue who mocks people with disabilities, disparages women, those with different religious beliefs who vows to suppress free speech and re-implement torture such as waterboarding and "unthinkable" atrocities.
The minority of the American people knew who who they were voting for with the KKK-endorsed Trump. They were aided and abetted by the same media who are facing recriminations and self-examination for being miles off in their polls and predictions that Hillary Clinton would win in key states like Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin (which imposed voter suppression tactics).

We had a free country, one in which Willie Nelson described in his song, Living In The Promised Land where there is "room for everyone."

No longer. Not in Trump Land America where the Stars and Bars reign supreme. There is room only for those who genuflect before the racist, know-nothing Imperial Wizard Donald Trump. We and the "Free Press" (such as it is) were given ample warning.

I'll give you a thumbs up but disagree on Hillary Clinton not being on the side of the people. She beat Donald Trump in the popular vote by the largest margin of any runner-up in U.S. politics history, almost a million votes.

The gullible, gutless mainstream media were so infatuated by the celebrity Trump that they ignored the dictator Trump to the detriment of all of us.

No Mr. Sherman, this election was not a referendum on "feigned invincibility" in spite of the electoral college win for the racist and his white supremacist ilk who are now dragging our country further to the right than during the Barry Goldwater-John Bircher era.

Is it logical to believe that if a candidate swept into office in a year in which his party lost seats in both the House and Senate and lost the popular vote by the largest margin in the history of American politics he can claim a winner-take-all mandate and ignore the will of the people?

Enjoy your "Grab Them By The Pu**y" racist 70-year-old president who never served a lick in the military yet claims he knows more about fighting ISIS than the U.S. generals do, never ran for nor elected to any public office, openly mocks people with disabilities, disrespects and disparages women, hates people with Hispanic surnames, boasts loudly of bringing back torture including waterboarding or worse "unthinkable" atrocities. Enjoy your white nationalists who will be appointed to the racist's cabinet, directing every agency and policy, enjoy the Star Chamber Supreme Court which our citizens will suffer under for the next several decades.

Do we expect "informed" people to understand all of the above when the fact is they might have to admit the raw truth that the racist Trump tapped into the ugliest aspect of our society, exploited it to the hilt and he worked the Art Of The Con to perfection? Now, suffer with it.
