I love Tina Fey's portrayal of Sarah Palin. However, the saddest part about this skit is that most of it is a direct quote of Sarah Palin's interview with Katie Couric. How this woman has gotten the Republican nomination for VP is beyond me, but I am loving the comic fodder that SNL is producing.

Tom, unfortunately the network is just going to be for women only. However, Aussie Bloggers caters for Australian bloggers of all genders.

The reason why there are no longer the rainbow stripes showing up on queer related search words is that Pride Month is over. It was only up for the month of June.

That I can understand, but women are still very much in the minority, especially when it comes to A-list blogging. Also, some women for whatever reasons feel a little intimidated asking men for help with blogging and other tech questions.

I am a member of BlogHer, but all events are held only in the US which makes them completely unavailable to me. Also, I don't find that there is any discussion about blogging tips or helping individual members with particular issues like writer's blocks or providing guest posts if they can't post for any reason. I guess I am looking for something with more of a personal touch and a sense of community where it doesn't matter where you live.

Nickoal, I am so sorry to hear that you are going through a rough time as well. I hope you now have a doctor who is not dismissive of your health issues and is trying to work out what is going on.
My doctor is leaning towards my problems being a muscular disorder as well. I wonder if most people with fibro really do have muscular issues.

I have now been using Plurk for a couple of weeks and they have really improved their functionality in that time. I love Plurk for being able to have more conversations with friends and really discuss ideas and concepts. Twitter is great for quick updates on things. I have been loving reading friends Twitter posts from pubcamp and Poltech talks.

Frances, it does sound like a bit of a wait, but that is only if my blood results come back clear. If there is anything wrong, I will be going back a lot sooner.

Also, there needs to be time for my medication to kick in and to find out if it is actually working and unfortunately, you can't do that in a couple of weeks.

Liz, I really hope your friend who has chemotherapy is now in remission and enjoying good health.
In my brief researching on Feldenkrais I did read that it is very good for dancers and actors to help them move better and at this stage I definitely need to learn how to move better.

Thom, thank you so much for all this info on Feldenkrais.
I am so sorry to hear that you went through such a rough patch with CFS, it is truly a horrible disorder.
I have been referred to a practitioner that works out of the Pain Management Centre at St Vincent's Hospital who is also a licensed physiotherapist as well so I will give her a call and make an appointment and give Feldenkrais a go.
