Well, that was entertaining... If I feel nostalgic about the old Torchwood, it's because there is no home base anymore, where the team would leave and always come back to. On the other hand, if I pretend to be a brand new viewer, all the right ingredients are here for me to care and want more.

Liking it but, as I suggested to them, I really miss the demarcation line between new and viewed tweets. If I happen to step out for a bit, and come back to see a few dozen new tweets, I have to carefully look at the last one viewed before clicking on the new ones, otherwise I'm lost. Previously, all I had to do was to look for that black demarcation line. I hope this feature will come back in some form or other.

Thanks, Lauren, for that informative post by Banyan Branch. I now know the details of the sandbox. I guess this makes us think harder about maximizing our brand in a minimal environment. It reminds me of my early career days in billboard advertising, where only a few words and a powerful image were deemed successful.

Reading your article, I'm a bit puzzled by your statement about "obsolete" and "elimination" of custom backgrounds. I just got the new Twitter interface and, yes, I do lose some real estate because the wide two-column design, but my custom background is still there and now I just have to adapt it.

Happy? No. Angry? Not really. Change is never without its foibles. It's called progress, for better or worse.

FYI, 21:9 is also referred as 2.33:1. A great number of movies are shot in either 1.85:1 or 2.39:1, which makes this set ideal for full cinematic experience.

Sorry, but I find nothing awesome or useful about these extensions, unless you're a developer and/or Google-centric user. In fact, there's very little content on Apple's extension page that I would qualify as a must-have, not even Twitter which was the most deceiving. Perhaps, with time...

Unless you have a need for it, turning off Spotlight (Settings>General>Home) by unchecking as many or all components greatly improves performance, especially for 3G on iOS4.
