In this cases the highest percentage that are been abuse are mostly women. But not putting a women in a group of sexists, it may not help her towards mental health. It is much more prefer to let her be in a residential treatment programs. I think in this way your first step will not be a baby step.

The head of the Sullivan County Department of Corrections had a wonderful idea on having a residential treatment programs for those prisoner. I think this will be well supported by most individual most especially every inmates in the prison cell. This is the most interesting part of the facility "The proposed 44-bed facility would resemble a house, with dormitory-style rooms for low- and medium-security inmates. Qualified inmates would participate in a 90-day drug- and alcohol-treatment program, and could earn reduced sentences if they are successful."

I have a son that had been carrying his addiction to alcohol and drugs for years. I've been always advices him to stop and what will the effect to him, but he won't listen. But now my next move is to let him be in a residential treatment programs that will guide him towards his addiction. Nice to hear about Cliffside Malibu.

This is a rare case that always happen to a residential treatment facility. Staff inside the center are the one who will guide them and give them the right treatment that they need. Not just physically abuse their patient.
