I think the notion of owning a copy of music / content is something that is left over from the offline world. We are already quite close to the point where we don't need a copy anymore but can stream the content to any device. We should move towards a business model where music is offered as a service. This is simply because the users are there to interact with eachother. That is the context and interuptive advertising will not work in this context.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;What I do envision, is that users will begin to add widgets of brands that they are passionate about on their personal pages, thereby endorsing the brand.
