BPC suggested green tea to curb caffeine withdrawals. Apparently, THAT'S fine, but not caffeine from coffee?! It doesn't make sense to me. I'm drinking my coffee with a green mug. Baby steps.

Yeah, I've been running my lines with my scene partners over and over just last week. It was difficult to get past the "intellectual" part of the text since we had to dramaturg the script ourselves! I'm glad I got the week off to do stuff outside of this play because it really felt like I needed to get away from it for a bit - lose the dramaturg hat and put the actor cap on once and for all. :) So we'll see how things go when I get back to the play next week!!

No, this was essentially the same movie. Marlon Brando screen tested with an earlier version of the script. He was considered for the role before the studio eventually went with James Dean.

If the whole cat thing is true, WOW that's crazy! I've been listening to the cast recording and from what I understand, Christine had an affair with the Phantom the night before her wedding and it was consensual. Their love triangle with Raoul has a very telenovela spin to it.

I really like the recording. Do check it out as soon as you get the lib's copy. The Phantom/Ramin's tracks... ugh, his voice just soars and makes my heart skip a beat.

I hope to see LOVE NEVER DIES one day. It would be fascinating to see how THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA characters turned out. Plus, getting to see half of RK's face wouldn't be so bad either.
