I was with Directv for 16 years, and what a wonderful, generous company! After the takeover, there were the expected budget cuts and policy changes, and people walking the hallways with targets on their backs.
Completely. Dismal. Workplace.

I was on hold for about 45 minutes so I hung up and called back and told the robot I was calling to cancel service... this time only 4 minute wait. I expressed my extreme displeasure while being courteous, and not accepting the “we know about the issue and are doing everything we can” as an answer. I tried to get a few months of HBO as compensation for losing the football game and a movie on 244, but she wouldn’t budge, only offering $10 off of my bill. I told her to keep it, as att obviously needs it more. This company has really gone to s___.

Nice pic! I own a '12 Sportwagen TDI that I love as well; waiting to see what the buyback offer is. Even though VW lied, commited fraud, and imo should offer to buy the car back for purchase paid, I'm probably going to use whatever $$ that is and pick up a Golf R. Maybe wait until the Golf Sportwagen R comes out in several months. These are fantastic cars, and eventually VW will put dieselgate behind them.

+1 on the most interesting character being killed off the show. After thinking on this over the weekend I've come to believe that the executive producers and/or Steve Buscemi were worried/threatened that Michael Pitt was becoming the shows main draw. I've thought and argued all along that Buscemi, while a fine character actor, is unfortunately not a leading man. In my opinion, the character of Nucky Thompson was miscast. I wonder who else was offered the role, he couldn't have been the first choice. Anyway, who knows, maybe some real life jealousy came into play here from the supposed star. What a blunder. End of story.
