Look at our mayor , he made a remark that he was
concern about the people health when it came to the landfill! Everyone believed Mayor Moak and went along with him! Then the mayor made a deal with New Ventures behind our back! The mayor remarks has put a lot of people health at risk! It not the person remark that put at people risk , it the people needing know when the remark is safe to believe or not!

Hayek! Then she is a danger to the public! It would be interested to find out if video games do play a role in there being more erratic drivers on the road! I was on Rt 95 today and a sign was up saying lane was close , so everyone use the next lane . People were driving 65 miles and had to slow down and get in next lane as truck was parked in the lane we were told to use! There were no warning signs to look out a truck parked in the lane!
It was very lucky we did not a pile up of cars!

I am glad I do not live in LA! I would to not help foot the bill for his mermorial service ! I heard is cost close to 4 millions $$! LA want the Jackson family to help with the cost! If I was taxpayer in LA I would really upset about this! I thought CA. had no money , where did they come up with this kind of money for MJ when the state had to sell one of it park! I think the people of LA should demand some answer to this wasteful spending of their tax dollars!

Salma Aguilar insurance rate is going to be high ! Salma should be order to take a driving class for people with road rage! He is a danger to the public!
I hope this will made people think about the way they drive on the highway! I wish the cops could do something about erratic drivers on our highway! I was almost knocked off the road by one!

If people stop patronizing the restaurants for not being able to afford to help with the cost of the firework how it that going help you get your fire work next years! The restaurants will not be able to give any money if they are not making a profit! If people really want to have fireworks they would get out and collect money!

Each summer, the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus carts dozens of elephants and other animals around some of the hottest parts of the U.S. in sweltering, poorly ventilated boxcars. The journey can be exhausting, disorienting, and extremely stressful, and the destinations bring more misery.

Circuses are invariably sad, deadly places for animals, and Ringling is right up there with the worst of them. The circus removes baby elephants from their loving mothers and forces them into a life of punishment, debasement, and extreme loneliness. PETA's circus monitors have videotaped how Ringling keeps elephants in line during their walk from the train to the venue by striking and hooking them in sensitive places with a steel-tipped bullhook. Investigative footage of elephant trainers in other circuses—including one who is the son of a former Ringling trainer and the brother of a current Ringling trainer—show how trainers sink the sharp metal into the elephants' sensitive skin, causing them to bellow in pain.

Right now, a federal district court judge is set to rule on a lawsuit filed by a former Ringling employee and several animal welfare groups alleging that Ringling's treatment of elephants violates the U.S. Endangered Species Act.

The evidence of cruelty to animals that PETA's staffers have collected by following the circus from city to city was used in court proceedings and during evidence gathering in the suit, which charges Ringling with "harming, harassing, and wounding endangered elephants," including shackling them for long periods of time so tightly that they cannot take even two steps in any direction and routinely striking them with bullhooks. PETA's footage of Ringling substantiates the abusive use of bullhooks, reveals the bloody wounds left in their wake, and shows lame elephants.

No matter how the judge rules, this lawsuit has succeeded—by shining the spotlight on the constant abuse and deprivation that these poor, enslaved animals suffer for Ringling's coffers. Evidence presented in court revealed that Ringling keeps elephants chained, sometimes for as many as 60 to 100 hours straight on extended trips. This is absolute agony, considering that in the wild, elephants walk up to 30 miles a day. Elephants don't understand why they are made to perform silly, physically painful tricks over and over again, day in and day out. So Ringling beats them until they comply.

Market Basket still has bin to collect dog and cat food for NBPT animal shelter. Now that the shelter is close I wonder were all the food is going that people donated. Does anyone know where the food is going?

circus de soleil does not any animals ! Animals do not belong in circus ! I hate it when the elephants are forced to walk down a street holding one another tails with their trunks! It has to horrible for the elephants being in an unnatural environment!

We have two people with life threatening injuries , that they did NOT have when they got in their car! I have see people driving erratically on the highway and I try my best to stay far away from them! The driver should not be allowed to drive any more! If the cops are going to keep bad seniors divers off the road the cops should bad middle age people off the road too!

The driver that cause this mess should pay to clean the road and river! I saw this on the news and it was horrible see all that fuel going into the water! Just what we needed on top the landfill mess!

People were complaning about the stores having A frames the sidewalks! So why it ok to have tables on the sidewalks! People can trip over a table. I hope the sidewalk will be cleaned off or the food people drop could attrack rats! We have huge water rats living on the water front! I saw one walking on the sidewalk once!

I am really sad to hear this happen to Becky! The city should had bend over backward to keep Becky as our ACO! She was doing a great job and I am sure going to miss seeing her around town!

People in every generation refuse to open their minds to new ideas! Seniors do not live in bubbles! I took care of seniors for 9 years they knew what going in the world! And they were not afraid of kids! Some seniors were afraid men that looked tough ,as the senoirs were getting rob! I use another web site and and a few people are in their 60's and one person it 90 years old! I would not call that close to new ideas!

I think the city has put the public and their pets at risk by not having an Animal Control Officer!
Two dogs were abandoned at a gas station and Becky found the dogs and was able to find a good home for
the dogs . The dogs were really sweet dogs and they older dog . I would hate to think what would happen to to these
dogs if NBPT did not have an Animal Control Officer! We will now have homeless pets roaming our streets and
they may not be up dated on their shots! I know PI had a pack of dogs roaming the streets a few years ago and the
dogs went after an older woman, she was lucky a man was able to case the dogs off with his car!
I have found 2 dogs in my yard , I was able to help the dogs get back home. One owner had the dog name on it
collar and vet's phone # . The other dog had the owner's phone # on a tag .
