It can be frustrating to re-watch as an entirety because Carter built a mythos he apparently couldn't handle in the end and so many threads never get completed, but if you go through and watch the best episodes? It's absolutely brilliant. They had so many talented writers working for the show that that's no surprise.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;*Like to the point where I am pretty sure my habit of collecting trivia about media I consumed started with the X-Files.
