My CSS add-on was the only thing I had to go to Firefox for. It's so rare
that I have to do that nowadays, that it doesn't really matter.
That's so strange that you lost those buttons [assuming that you have the
«view navigationbar» checked, of course].

It always feels overwhelming to try and get in touch with any big
corporation, be it Yahoo, Microsoft or ... Mozilla. I think I'd give up
before I even started.

From out windows we can watch seagulls up close, crows and pidgeons. The
latter lit on the roof and we can hear them cooing... :) Would be fun to see
a Pelican in real life some time. The blue heron is kind of ... majestic.

Google Chrome is my browser of choice. I only bring up the other ones when
I've made some changes in for example Multiply, to check that everything
looks alright. When you edit CSS code it's a little tricky sometimes because
the browsers handle it differently.
I have too little memory on my computer, so Google Chrome suits me just
fine.

I wonder what the Download Helper is. Must be good, even though I never felt
that I needed any help with downloading. My thing, that makes me open
Firefox is my CSS-viewer. It's so handy.

He's doing genealogy ... that's why he goes to the library so often -- checking stuff in old newspaper archives.

Mike,
I always enjoy reading your posts and I learn something from them, but this was the one most enjoyable to me. So well written and to the point.
About a year ago I found myself spending almost 24/7 on FriendFeed ... even though I found it intimidating most of the time! Guess that says a great deal about me, huh :-) but I found so much new stuff there and learned so much from what they were talking about.
Email is still the core of my communication.

oh yeah ... they built the new, Regional Hospital -- a huge concrete
structure -- a bit outside town.

We can see the very top of it from here and
its smoke stack. The ambulances also take the same route all the time, which
is right outside here so we here sirens all the time.

That's what I must do too...quit reading *about *it so much. It stopped me
from writing anything at all. When I read what they were writing about it
felt like anything I might like to write about would be just plain stupid or
of no interest to anybody else.
I'll always keep up with Twitter but I'm sure it could be so much more
fun... perhaps if more people from «our blogosphere» were around there..I
don't know..

yes, I like the CNN stuff in Twitter...like keeping up with the news without
having them on TV all the time. It's kind of fun with the Rick Sanchez
stuff...he started that whole thing.

I can do it too... we had so many power outages in QC, so one hour isn't

I've seen some kind of gum drops with some Swedish name on them but don't
recognize them. That doesn't mean anything though..I was never into candy
before either.These ones are made here in New Brunswick..

What's the name of the plug-in?

Same here...my camera lives in my purse. That's one good thing about always

I like snow too...but in the end there I was rather fed up. We didn't get
snowstorms..it just kept on snowing...and snowing...steadily. It became
almost impossible to shovel, because the banks were too high to throw the
snow over.. It LOOKED nice though LOL

I use Windows Live Writer... so it's really no big deal at all to put in
photos this way. You just attach them as you do in an email.
We've had a good sized snow storm after I wrote that post...
