This weekend I saw what can happen when we put our differences down and join together with one common goal.... to show the love of Christ. This weekend, we saw several churches come together to worship Friday night, then Saturday we went out together and served our communities as followers of Christ, not followers of this church or that church. It didn't matter our denomonations or affiliations, the only thing that mattered was that we touched those around us. It was truelly amazing to see what God can do through us when we put down such petty differences and allow him to work thru us!

Today I am fasting and praying for each and every prayer request spoken today and those unspoken. Through one prayer I am realizing more and more that there are so many in need of a miracle in their life. I want to encourage everyone who is fasting and believing God for a miracle.

Last night as I was preparing for this fast, the Lord gave me 2 scriptures for today.

Luke 1:37 - For nothing is impossible with God.

Genesis 18:14 - Is anything to hard for the LORD? NIV
Genesis 18:14 - I am the LORD! There is nothing to difficult for me. CEV

Today I enjoyed fasting with everyone. I decided on a partial fast, fasting all food until 6 pm. Every hunger pain today reminded me to pray for those who are lost. Thank you to all of you have joined me today in fasting, praying, and worship. God is so good!

Please pray for my daughter Brittany (11) and cousin Cody (10). After hearing about my fast today and after many questions, they have decided to spend tomorrow fasting and praying for their friends at school. One is fasting food (breakfast and lunch), the other TV, computer, and electronic games. Neither have ever fast before, so I pray that draw closer to our Father as they learn to deny their flesh.

I have been fasting and praying all day for those named here on this blog and those who don't have anyone to lift them up in prayer.

Please pray for my daughter Brittany, who is 11, and my cousin Cody, who is 10. They both have decided to fast and pray tomorrow for their friends at school who don't know Jesus. Brittany has decided to fast breakfast and lunch and Cody is giving up TV, Wii, Playstation, and any other form of entertainment, except his radio. He plans to listen to worship music all day and pray during commercials. Brittany is making her list of friend's tonight. I am praying that God will show up in a big way for them as they fast for the first time.

I am fasting and praying for each and every name mentioned here today. As I join you in praying, please agree with in prayer for the following people.

Salvation: grandfather Tom and his girlfriend Pearl, uncle Mack, great uncles Dick and Pat, friend Tammy who is trying to blend all religions to make one, who believes that you can take different elements from each, who believes white magic is ok as well. my daughter's father, Jeff, who is so lost and struggling, Joseph and Tonya, Carl Ray, Jason, Brett, Jason, Joey, Ladelle, Mack Doug, J.D.,

For their return to the LORD: Kenny, Shannon, Jodi, Candi, Lee, Shawndra,

Thank you Lord for each and every person named here today. I just pray that as we fast today and lift your children up to you, that you would touch each and everyone one of them today. That they would come to know your love and grace. I pray for those who have never known you, that they would see you for the very first time and that their hearts would be ready receive your grace and mercy. I pray for those who have known you but have gone their own way. I pray that they would turn and find your loving arms open and ready to receive them. That they would come to cherish your love again just as they once did. I pray for all those who are struggling with alcholism. I pray that the hold upon them would be broken NOW in Jesus name! I pray for relationship to be restored and for all prodigal sons and daughters to return! In Jesus' mighty, mighty, name! Amen! Thank you Lord for hearing the hearts cry of your people!
