Thanks for the input, visitken. I've updated the story to include your point of view, but frankly, there's no news in February about LG and the G5 SE trademark based on my search. To be fair to Apple, for a device that they would release in March, surely they would've applied for a trademark earlier than say, February? :)

Why don't you reply Mr. Matthew Whited's comment below and have a discourse with him?

You're the only one ranting about me being biased out of the many readers that we have. Can I then single your rant as a drop in the bucket based on your platform of logic, or in your own words, "a very tiny minority" - which is actually giving you far more credit that I should?

I think we have very different point of views. A good day to you sir, and overtures of accusation about me being paid by one of their competitors have definitely crossed the line into my personal territory. For the record, I'm not paid a single penny from one of the alleged competitors that you mentioned, but on the flip side, how much are you being paid for being a Microsoft apologist?

There are real people facing real issues with the update.

How you interpret a sentence depends on your presupposed bias. This is a Microsoft update that has gone awry for some people, and if you think that it is some huge stain on Microsoft's backside, try telling that it isn't to the folks who are negatively affected by this update.

A sample post from the forum for you to consider :-

"There is not a lot of chat or guidance from Microsoft on this thread. My phone has been hot all day, update .29 won't get beyond 0%. I had to charge my phone three times today. Can't install apps from the store.
Should I be hard resetting? Is this even being looked at? Is my waiting in vein?
At least tell me how to cool down my phone (even if it means a bucket of water) its too hot for my jacket pocket this evening."

Unless you feel that having an overheated phone in your jacket pocket which will not charge up beyond 0% of its battery capacity is not a huge stain for a company like Microsoft (your words and interpretation, not mine), then kindly tell me which neighborhood you reside in. I'm sure the world would like to move in to a place where the there is such a high level of tolerance for something that should not even happen in the first place.

Not too sure what were you doing there in January 2014 as you mentioned, since KLIA2 only opened for operations to the public in May 2014. Were you there to catch a flight, or some mosquitoes?

The whole point of this story is, if you happen to be one of the Surface Book users who thought that you could pick up the Surface Book keyboard as an individual add-on accessory later on since the Surface Book keyboard base comes with a GPU for added firepower, then you would be sorely disappointed.

"One fatal passenger flight per 4 million flights..." does not add up when you have stated an estimate later on concerning 100,000 daily flights on average per day. Statistically speaking, we should be looking at a fatal crash each 40 days, which is clearly not the case!

I'm just reporting it as at press time - I understand that the figure has already breached the $90k mark earlier on, but as at press time, that was not the case. In fact the source link (BBC) mentioned $96k - but double checking on the eBay link itself showed otherwise for the latest bid.

I understand what you're saying, and in Sony's official press release, they have clarified it at the bottom that "sold through" in this case equals to "Number of retail sales to consumers".

I would think that many have been confused by what was verbally mentioned at the CES press conference, which is why the written word had been clarified with multiple footnotes, and thankfully those footnotes addressed this issue.
