it's good to hear from the average every day working people about what is really going on instead of some the self proclaim real estate millionaires on the blog or the real estate industry or the govt or the banks telling people how great things are.

I can't see it any other way, other then things are going to get bad, how can it not? when real estate/income ratio is wwwway to high compare to the historically norm and when the only reason the economy is not as bad as it is, is because of the govt bailouts, and the extreme emergency interest rate.

if you are just a normal guy with a college degree, who isn't a realtor or a speculator, then what are you doing posting rude comments and calling people names on here? and making a fool out of your self, acting like a asshole, what did squidly or anyone one else done to you that's so horrible that you and people like you (or maybe just you and others using multiple names) have to be so rude for no reason.\
it's obvious that you are either a realtor or a speculator or have some kind of vested interest in real estate for you act the way you do, otherwise why would anyone be such an ass as you are?
you might have a "college degree" but you haven't learn how to be a civilize person, why not spend some quality time with you family and set a better example for your kids on how to treat people.

all the realtors and speculators posting here, if you guys got nothing better to do because business is slow, why not do some upgrading on your education or prepare your selves for the up and coming spring rush or something like that, why come here calling people names and show your bitterness and anger toward people who you don't know anything about and did nothing bad personally to you, it just show how low and pathetic you guys are.\
if you want to change people's minds about buying real estate you need to give them good reasons, not by calling names and acting like a childish loser.
asking your selves this, are you doing your profession and your selves a favor by acting this way? or are you just confirming what the general public already know about you guys and hating you even more?

there's no doubt at all was so ever that there's a huge housing bubble in canada, you don't need to be an export or an "economist" to figure that out, just require a brain and a heart beat.
however like with everything, there are always people who are heavily vested in the industry, who will tell you that the price is always right no matter what, no point in having arguments with these people, and there are a few of them hanging around here.

I do agree with you that it's better to providing answers and evidence, many people do post answers and evidence here along with opinions and other times people only post opinions base on common sense, i don't see any problems posting their opinions as long as it's base on logic and common sense.
as for people who disagree there's bubble or constantly argue that it;s good time to buy, you can't use hard date or evidence or common sense to change their minds, just read all the postings and you know what I mean

most people here provide good links and opinions why it's not a good time to buy real estate but you them to say the oposite, there are planty of websites for you to read on why it's good to buy real estate and gold but instead you come here a Blog about Real Estate Bubble? it just don't add up, all you do is wine about how much you miss all the pro-real estate bloggers who left, even if you are really are a "bitter renter" who want to buy gold or a home for your kids and wife, why don't you do that, why come here a complain about your missed opportunities like all those PHONY "single mom" or "mr. unhappy", who using multiple user names claiming to lose money or opportunities like your self and then blame it on squidly and other here for your financial misfortune, at least they don't sound as phony as you.

I didn't say anything about BMO or shame anybody for not buy BMO or any other stocks or gold on here, I would give my oppinion if some one ask but I won't tell people to buy stocks and a house while they are at other wise they will be priced out forever.

as for BMO stock, in private I did tell my family it's a good buy back in march, i bought it at $26 btw.

I might disagree with Bearclaw about real estate, just as disagree with you on other issues, but I actually like Bearclaw he does seem like a decent guy, even though he's pro real estate now after he bought, unlike some phony "single mom" who lost money by not buying or guys that lost money selling b/c of squidly and this blog, or other user name they go by.

as for worldclass being right on gold, sure he's right but so what???? this blog is call http://albertabubble.blogsp..., remember? I was right on Citigroup, Bank of America, GE, Pfizer, CIBC, BMO, Ford stocks too, while gold has gone up about 30% since then, these stocks went up as much as 800%, now if I had constantly posted my predictions on these stocks, a lot of bloggers here would have told me to Fu#ck-off like they did with Brent wouldn't they? and I'm very positive you would not come to my rescue and wish you had bought some Citigroup, Bank of America, GE, Pfizer, CIBC, BMO, Ford stocks "or a home for your wife and kids" would you, NO you wouldn't because you are obviously a real estate agent trying to be "justpassinby" as a "bitter renter" and since I'm not pro real estate at this current price level you would not like me too much and wouldn't put me in the same class as some of your favorite bloggers here, more importantly I don't provide an income for you and your wife and kids to buy "gold" or a "home".
guys like you have come and gone and have been exposed here many times already, I know lying to people is an important part of your profession but don't try it here we are too smart for that, why do you think we rent and have saved thousands of $$$ in the last few years?
