I often switch my iPad to airplane mode, and when I do so and fiddle with the home button immediately after, the "black" "secure" on-screen keyboard pops up AND DISPLAYS THE LAST PASSWORD I ENTERED AS A SUGGESTION.

Right there, in the middle of my screen. This is utterly inexcusable. I've had this happen with my lock screen passcode, my iTunes password, passwords from secure websites, the works.

Also, physical keyboard support on iOS badly needs attenton. It's ridiculous that this http://taoofmac.com/space/b... is still the most popular page on my site for two years running - if switching between apps works _now_ with VoiceOver enabled, why not make it work all the time?

Re: Developing Clojure in the Cloud

fig doesn't rebuild the container on every change I make - it re-uses the previous one and mounts my source tree inside, unless I change something major.

Re: Developing Clojure in the Cloud

I suggest looking into fig: http://www.fig.sh. It has replaced Vagrant for me, with the benefit that I can deploy the resulting container (fig is also a nice stepping stone to the compose tool Docker just released)

Re: Mastermindzh.com ~ for your weekly dose of nonsense!

You might want to check out http://github.com/rcarmo/ra... - I've got a few useful tools for monitoring there.

Re: iPhone 6 and Android value

Er, no. I look forward to being able to build and run Inferno on the Pi.

Give the amount of tweaking involved since Part 1 was published, a one-piece HOWTO on building a bootable image would be great (once it's stable, of course -- I suppose there's still a fair bit of stuff to do).

Re: How life changes

Curious. First thing I did when I got to the 10th grade was train myself to write in block style. Never looked back, really, I find cursive annoying and unreadable.

A fun fact - they used to teach block writing in the old "commercial" schools in Lisbon, as well as basic calligraphy. My dad went through that and still has the neatest writing I've ever seen.

Re: Opening and Converting Corrupted PDF Files - Tao of Mac

You certainly have no idea of how Adobe's installers work - there would be gunk all over the hard disk. This way I can see when people get the file and kill the server instantly.
