I agree with you Tom. Steve Litzow's positive attributes and commitment to the Community did not deserve the November "Does not Get It" letter from the President of the School Board. Steve would have been a great advocate for the 41st District and especially for Mercer Island. He would have brought a refreshing array of new ideas to improve education in the District and the State. The good side is that the City will enjoy his moderate voice of reason on the Council.

How appropriate that El & Mike should comment against the local Bond & Levy when the Reporter reports water shut offs have doubled compared to typical trends. I bet there are other warnings if foreclosure rates are analyzed. Islanders are a diverse lot. Some live on the water, some do not. We all enjoy the parks and recreational fields, but show constraint.
