Steve Litzow's positive attributes and commitment to the Community did not deserve the November "Does not Get It" letter from the President of the School Board.  Steve would have been a great advocate for the 41st District and especially for Mercer Island.  He would have brought a refreshing array of new ideas to improve education in the District and the State. I bet there are other warnings if foreclosure rates are analyzed.  Islanders are a diverse lot.  Some live on the water, some do not.
