i can't believe i didn't attend in 2010. i wimped out on paying for the $1200 flight bc it was easter vacation and i think it was in Phoenix that year. Damn, it could have changed my life too. I have a few good reviews coming out on the awesome book shortly.

Nathan, I don't usually make it through pieces more than 150 words today, this was a great one and so many great points were raised.

Many do seek advice for me on how to network and how I grew my network, but like you mentioned, being in Michigan makes it that much harder.

In one day in NYC, I can go to 7 meetings with notable people, however, in Michigan, it's likely our emails and fup as you mentioned Alex also do does well.

Persistence helps, if you feel rejected because someone doesn't respond to your first 2 emails, then networking will always be very hard for the person trying to establish his or her network.

I actually still have my first check from TheStreet and I think it was James that introduced me to TSCM back in the day. Those were the days. I also remember the first day stockpickr went up as I was a tester and enjoyed conversing with James on how to make it better and when the email alerts didn't work. I wonder where those Indians behind the site are these days.
