This kind of behaviour will be the norm in a near future... With the ability of the today's phones to photograph code bars and through the browser compare prices on the spot with other retail stores or amazon and the likes, the managers of these stores will become more and more defensive about their costumers taking photos with their phones. But if they make it a store policy I think they should publicize it in the most visible manner... I'm not sure though about the legality of such policy...?

Edit: as for the TV I would advise you to check Samsung LED TV line, and to be really future proof consider that the next buzzword/technologic leap in TV Screens will be 3D....

O que eu me ri com o burro do comentador do Domingo Desportivo sobre arbitragem... "Ah se Lisandro fosse empurrado por Yebda teria que cair para trás!". Então uma obstrução dentro da área com o braço, e ainda para mais à frente das barbas do árbitro é o quê? Não é preciso que o jogador se contorça com dores, se impede com o braço a movimentação normal do jogador que tem a bola dominada = pénalti! Chiça!

E ri-me ainda mais com a besta do Luisão no final do encontro a insinuar que Lisandro tinha sido mau profissional ao simular penalti. E logo por duas razões: é penalti sim senhor, e estamos a falar da besta que agrediu no jogo da primeira volta o Sapunaru... Ora isso sim é que é de profissional!

I'm not a loonie (but if I was I think I would never admit it), but I surelly am a wishful thinker that really wants a netbook with the polish of an Apple product... and its OS inside. But I know that the closest that I will be of something of the kind is some sort of a hackintosh, with the "unpolishness" factor associated with this solution completely diverting me from dive into that project.

At the moment the answer to the question "How much computer do I really need?" is a screaming "NETBOOK" (sorry for the screaming), and this is getting me to visit more and more of the PC area of the great department stores just to drool a little bit over the Acer/Asus exposed there... They already call me "the netbook loonie", really, I can hear them mumbling it behind my back ... hehehehe

Looking forward to read those futur photography posts... Funny that just yesterday I had the time to watch precisely WALL-E but on blu ray. Superb, and the first half with no speech (or almost no speech) it's just poetic.

My phone of the year (not trying to steal your thunder here hehehehe) is the Nokia 6110 Navigator, quite simply because it was the phone that I used for the entire year. And with BluePhoneElite it made it possible to work with my PowerBook in ways that I didn't knew were possible until that moment.

I'm not still completely sold to the iPhone allure, but I'm sure in a futur iteration I will ultimately succumb... hehehe

Little Big Planet it's a sack of fun... But the online is really broken. Lag, lag, lag, and even more lag... Playing an online level with others turns it completely unplayable. At least in my experience, and I have a somewhat "good" connection, and this is the only game that I have problems of this magnitude.

If you are a RPG aficionado then you'll have to try Valkyria Chronicles... Beautiful art (Hayao Miyazakiish), great gameplay, wonderful experience in all... And a title that also surprised me, as I'm not a fan of survival horror type of games, was Dead Space. A complete underdog among the wave of AAA games released in October/November, but it's really a gem.

Can't believe I forgot WipeOut HD... Playing it for 2 days now, and it's just the funnest (I was just waiting for the opportunity hehehehe) game that I played in this gen of consoles (I'm still waiting for a Beta key for LBP). The online just adds to the challenge and the fun of blasting your zero grav ship through the tracks.

Try Pixel Junk Eden from the PSN Store, there is a demo if you want to have a "test drive" before you get the real thing... But it's a really fun game, good music, inventive, and an "easy to get in easy to get out" kind of game that I think will please you.

Little Big Planet is on my radar too, and Sony is pounding it as the next big thing, and I will surelly get it in the first days of its launch.

As for the Life With PlayStation I'm with you in your rant about it, it's just another show of the lack of care of Sony to its European costumers.. Or in this case Portuguese costumers. It really feels like a half baked thing.... sigh
