Could someone help me out? Not sure if the above is a definition of paranoia or the Tea Party? In either case, lithium is the way to go.

The way Mr. Feuerstein tosses off blanket statements re: DNDN like 'due to competing drugs that are easier to use and just as effective' - they're not as effective, they're prescribed for different stages- and his insights concerning DNDN and other biotechs is usually just 'pop' science reporting and ego journalism. He's superficial, vain, and a pill best taken with a barrel of salt. Better yet, don't take him at all.

First - 'in the absence of data' cuts both ways. Docs may use both. Why use lack of data to arrive at a particular partisan conclusion. Second - 'the hassle and cost' - As to hassle, my analogy is a bespoke suit vs off the rack. You decide which one your health deserves. And as to cost, we don't know yet what the final costs will be for those drugs. Third - isn't there some data out there that DNDN may actually improve survival by closer to 7.8 months? Fourth - you haven't dealt with an important and earlier question posted: When is the earliest Zytiga and MDV can be approved in a pre-chemo setting? Certainly that timeline will give a clearer picture as to DNDN's worth.
