It's definitely mindless horror (which I've always liked. It's nice to give your brain the night off once in a while) but it's not half as bad as most of the films in the original run, especially the ones where the girls battle jason with their mental powers.&lt;br&gt;That was REALLY cheesy.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I hate to say it, but I'm kind of happy that hollywood's prostituting themselves the way they are with all the remakes and sequels because most of these films are of my favorite franchises. It's like when your favorite tv show goes off the air, then it's brought back by popular demand - sweet, new episodes.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I've enjoyed all the slasher remakes so far. (halloween, texas chainsaw massicre, my bloody valentine, etc.) I'm really looking forward to the freddy remake next.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;That's just me though. I completely understand where you're coming from, and I agree with you that hollywood should come up with more cool original movies too.&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">randomblogger</dc:creator><pubDate>Wed, 19 Aug 2009 05:51:51 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
