Ayurveda nowhere recommends whole Banana stem as suggested above. But it highly recommends the centrally located core of stem of a Banana plant after its fruition. This core end carries Banana flower and bunch of the fruits. In the recommendation, outer layers of the stem are discarded.

Middle class decisions are not considered decisions but swayed by winds. As such, the middle class neither supported Indira Gandhi nor thrown her out of power. These were the waves created in favor or against that worked. We Indians are still not fit for democratic governance but we practical compulsions at the moment.
Throwing out Congress out of power without the support of SP and BSP is a tactical must at the moment. Narendra Modi is the best bet, undoubtedly.

India would never wake up to its real problems like malnutrition, for the highly corrupt leadership and inefficient administration. Corruption at all levels from village to the nation level is rampant and uncontrollable. In my village itself, nutrition food supposed to be distributed to children and women is sold as buffalo feed by the nutrition workers under sponsorship of official machinery for servicing vested interests of the politicians and administrative officials.
