I'm just glad to be added in as a friend so I can monitor their communications and get an insight to their thoughts. When my son is ready, then I'll allow him provided that he abides by certain security guidelines and that I get to monitor the exchanges.

Re: Holy, holy, holy ...

St. Francis of Assisi can easily be seen as a nut shell but the Church has vouched that he is with God now and his life is worth emulating. And having psychological "challenges" does not preclude anyone from loving God and being His man.
Come to think of it, all of us have pre-neurotic tendencies; thanks to original sin. So, we all tend to become nut shells if we don't watch it.

Re: Holy, holy, holy ...

To be a man of God

Re: Camping 101

LOL. To paraphrase St. Thomas Aquinas, "The person who made the statement does not really matter. What was said is what matters." Bottom line, people do not care for the truth but for their own positions - whether those are right or wrong. Just like the legitimizing abortion and even making it culturally acceptable. How many arguments or suggestions have you heard for pro-lifers to accept defeat and to accept abortion as a fact of life and just move on to finding solutions. And those are coming from Jesuits and other clerics.

Re: Sin and Human Nature

Your distinction of human vs. sub-human highlighted the positive meaning of human "as made in God's likeness" vs. the negative connotation e.g. succumbing to weakness and sinning.

Re: Prayer Request

u got it Rob.
