Die eigene Überzeugung und die agile Community "da draußen", die mich jeden Tag in meinen Ansichten bestärkt. Wenn ich den Glauben verliere, muss ich natürlich aufhören. Die Widerstände sind manchmal wirklich schlimm. Aber ich weiß auch, dass das Reflexe auf das Neue sind, und am Ende die Veränderung sowieso kommt. Laut Nils Pfläging braucht es 2 Jahre, damit keiner mehr zum alten zurückkehren will. Da ist das Zeitfenster klar und es gilt auch weiterhin: "Geduld ist die Tugend der Erfolgreichen". Und wenn man es dann mal erreicht hat, natürlich auch: "Neid ist die höchste Form der Anerkennung" ;-). Wir kämpfen gegen 100 Jahre (Post-)Taylorismus, das sollte jedem klar sein, der in das agile Fach wechselt. Vielfach sind gerade jene, die einen reinholen, die jenigen, die die Änderung dann am wenigsten wollen. Darauf kann man sich mental einstellen. Dafür wird man reich belohnt, wenn es gelingt.

Wenn da nicht diese kleine Befindlichkeit gegen Amazon rauszuhören wäre, ein wirklich gelungener Aufruf. Aber genau diese macht das Statement nicht wirklich besser als das von Forssman. Ich kann nachvollziehen, dass das Digitale als eine Bedrohung letztendlich für alle in dieser Branche Tätigen aufgefaßt wird, egal in welcher Facette es auch ausgedrückt wird. Aber wie auch schon bei der Musikbranche in der Vergangenheit beobachtet werden konnte, wird auch hier nicht wirklich verstanden, dass letztendlich der Markt, also die Leser bzw. Käufer entscheiden, was Kulturgut wird und was nicht. Und ohne Gewinn werden die Verlage nicht existieren können. Gott sei Dank bleibt noch etwas Zeit, sich über die aufkommende Container-Frage Gedanken zu machen und den Lesern das zu bieten, was sie verlangen. Der Content steht ja nicht wirklich zur Disposition.

Das eigentlich erschreckende ist, dass die Verlagswelt nicht in vorderster Linie an der Entwicklung mitgewirkt hat, und nun stattdessen Amazon ankreidet, dass sie die Zeichen der Zeit erkannt haben. Als Konsument bin ich froh, dass es zumindest jemanden gibt, der dem Konsumenten etwas brauchbares anzubieten hat. Dafür darf ich mich als Kunde damit herumschlagen, dass ich gewisse E-Books deutscher Verlage für den Kindle nicht bekomme. Sorry, aber ich hole mir dafür nicht auch noch die Tolino-Plattform ins Haus, so offen er auch sein mag. Solange es diese Art von Kundenunfreundlichkeit gibt, wirkt es wie ein Hohn auf das ach so geschlossene System von Amazon zu schimpfen.

Bei all der Diskussion (Stichwort "Kulturgut") wird der Leser, der letztendlich das ganze finanziert, immer vergessen. Aber wie hiess es schon an anderer Stelle so schön: Wer zu spät bekommt, den bestraft das Leben.

Der Vergleich wird zwar oft herangezogen, er hinkt aber trotzdem. Über die Laufzeit treten nicht so gravierende Änderungen auf wie bei der Software-Entwicklung üblich.

Die Frage ist, ob er wirklich ein Ekelpaket war. Wenn man sich das Video http://allthingsd.com/20110... anschaut, hat er über den Erfolg von Apple sinngemäß folgendes gesagt: Vertrauen und Freiräume für Ideen schaffen. Sich nicht einmischen und akzeptieren, daß auch die Ideen des CEO sich nicht immer durchsetzen, sondern das, was gut ist ;-).

Vielleicht sollten wir in Zukunft mehr von Scrum Framework (minimalste Implementierungseinheit) und Scrum Prozess (= Scrum Framework + X) und nicht mehr von "Scrum" reden. Dann kann nicht jeder Dahergelaufene gleich mit "Customizing" kommen.

I added some interviews with Mike Cohn and Ken Schwaber. Interesting: Ken announces a Professional Product Owner certification for 2011. So, it will become easier to select between the ScrumAlliance and Scrum.org certification path.

you are allowed to use it commercially. It makes no sense to me to restrict it to private use only. But, distribution or selling is not allowed. So, please, ask your co-workers to download their copies themselves from this blog.

thanks for your experiences. Tools developed primarily in the U.S. always show some defects when we use European Umlauts ;-).

I'm currently looking for a better processing chain (e.g. using DITA). But, it seems that the chain I describe in this post is still state-of-the-art :-(.

do you have done full-blown installations of all mentioned packages? Did you test it with the first batch file code?

Maybe you also have coding errors in the text source file. You may try to use each tool step by step using the different (generated) source files. My experience shows me that it is a bit tricky to recognize such (syntax) errors when you use the complete processing chain in one step.
