ICC ( http://indrajal-comics.blog... is one of EARLY STAGE POPULAR IJC blogger, who shared many IJCs & comics. We remember him for his unique style of presentation (with humour). #1 & #2 were first posted at net by him also. First version of #1 had phantom comics pages only. The missing pages were scanned & posted by ICC in his blog as separate post (http://indrajal-comics.blog....

You might find one more version (better size) of #1 with claim as OWN scans by a GREAT person. IN FACT some pages were taken from ICC's scans, check yourself. ;)

Since last 2+ years, he was neither scanning nor posting. He is one of very few IJC physical comics collectors with all 803 IJCs. I think, he returned back for filling gapes of HR C2C versions.

So, my answer is: Yes, he was/is a big Gun. :)

That version was also added at this blog with the permission of you both. It's clearly mentained - scanned by CW & 1st posted by you. The date is also same as your post.

It's comfortable for those who came in late & the HISTORY remained unultered.

This IJC is very special for me too:
1. as 1st issue of Bahadur - a masterpiece work by two legends of Indian Comics (Aabid Surti ji & late Govind Brahmania ji).
2. A person was showing too much value about his scans. In next few weeks I am receiving this physical copy in Russia, importing just for sharing. However, ICC made the task easier.

Sorry! Fixed it. By the way, keep downloading coming scans as these have limited life. ICC in mood for completing all missing pages, if version was OK. If not, he's scanning early IJCs.

I like either Vintage look (without any touching or min. like this IJC) or fully cleaned (like new book).

Half cleaned is wastages of time only. :o)

You are welcome! I also had this issue in Hindi, like you - lost.

Since start, my goal is making available these lost IJCs as much as possible - without commercialization.

Keep visiting, one day this blog will have all HR 803 IJCs. If there will be need, I can start scanning also.

The collective efforts are giving better results, that’s why in such quantities we are getting IJCs.

The cover fixing is relatively tougher task, ICC has saved at least 10 hours.

Without cleaning, the fixing takes relatively more time. Glad to know you liked fixed panels.

You looked at the number of comments, that's why such impression.

Here are some more statistics:
* In Jan 2011, the number of visitors were 2444 (page veiws 11836) & in July 4706 (page veiws 23099). Almost the same situation is with the number of downloads.
* Although the numbers of visitors per month of this blog is almost half than "Books & Comics" - the alexa ranking of this blog is much better.

His list is much better than ACK media (official copyrights holder), what to say about us (fans). :)

You can try circulating among comics bloggers. If possible send me as excel file too.
