I may be mistaken, but I believe that Fluid shares session information with Safari. I ran into that issue once and when I went to Gmail in Safari, I found that I'd been logged out. When I looged in, I returned to the Gmail Task App, refreshed and I was back in action.

I've yet to see the 'related email' link, but I think it'll show up some day--Google recently updated the app, so it displays links to the mobile versions of Gmail and Calendar, so here's hoping!

Gmail Labs is awesome! I have the following 'Experiments' turned on-

-Tasks
-Fixed width font (although I don't use it...)
-Advanced IMAP controls (which I'll use when I get an iphone)
-Default 'Reply to all' (my mistake is that I usually FORGET to reply to everyone)
-Navbar drag and drop
-Forgotten Attachment Detector
-Custom Label Colors
-Go to label
-Multiple Inboxes
-Text Messaging (SMS) in Chat
-Send & Archive (Awesome! Keeps my inbox cleared out)
-Undo Send (Just activated- sounds good!)
-Title Tweaks
-Google Calendar Gadget (this is broken in the new Safari beta... :-( )
-Add any gadget by URL (not currently using any extra gadgets though...)

Also, make sure you turn on keystrokes in your settings. It's amazing how fast your can move around gmail without reaching for the mouse!

If you're getting that message, you need to use the up-to-date User Agent String for the iPhone. Under the application menu, choose "User Agent" then select "Other." Then paste this in-

Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5H11 Safari/525.20

Shouldn't be version specific. Make sure that Safari is not running when you're editing the .plist file, or it'll be overwritten when you quit. But really, if you're comfortable doing that, you should be able to run those two commands in the terminal!

Didn't come across that one, I'll have to take a look! The camelCase minor mode was the first thing that I encounter in my search.

I know just enough lisp do be dangerous, but not enough about the available libraries. Couldn't find anything when looking for first and second, so I made up my own! Good to know!

That's another way to approach it. I like the Fluid approach, because it becomes a separate application, not tied to a browser.

You could probably use that link directly in Fluid or Prism without having to muck with the UserAgent.

Awesome! What in particular are you using Afloat for? I'd never heard of it until now!

I ask, because Fluid apps can be pinned, overlayed, floating, etc without a secondary app. You can even do a menu extra, which is kind of cool.

Ctrl+Tab or Ctrl+Shift+Tab will cycle through your tabs.

CTRL-Click on the toolbar, then select 'Customize Toolbar.' You should be able to drag the refresh button back to where it should go.
