There are a few who stayed in his camp, but not the majority. Just a thought.

Re: Teabagger Turned Senator!? You obviously are clueless about the whole state. The relationship between all the Tea Party People is very good.... but I will let you think what you want to. Richard is a leader and if you can say anything his heart has been in a place of wanting to bring people together... not drive them apart as you seem apt to do in your posts.

Re: Teabagger Turned Senator!? I DO believe that Bayh is vulnerable due to the amount of spending he has voted for. People in this country are tuning in like never before. We would all do well to listen to that voice. Bayh CAN be beat.

Re: Teabagger Turned Senator!? He actually made the official announcement this week via an email. He filed with the FEC last Friday.

The claims you are making concerning the Tea Party leadership are false. I am wondering where you are getting that information from.

Re: Teabagger Turned Senator!? Did you attend the Indianapolis event? He did not do all the speaking, in fact, he did very little speaking. The event really was about giving a voice to the growing frustration that began with TARP and has still not stopped.

Re: Teabagger Turned Senator!? He banished ANY politician from speaking because he wanted the event to ONLY be a voice for the PEOPLE....not the elected officials.

Perhaps if the GOP would get back to the Goldwater/Republican roots, then those of us who ARE associated with the Tea Party movement would be happy to reassociate with the party. As it is, the current Republican Senator does NOT represent our views on limited government and fiscal responsibility. I think the GOP is kicking and screaming against moving back to the right, yet that is the reason the Tea Party movement has not died down or gone away.

I sense the annoyance with an "unknown" daring to speak up for his position. The thing is, there are many people in this state who DO agree that the country is headed in the wrong direction and are very ready to vote for someone outside of the political mainstream

And thank you for removing the offensive term.

Re: Teabagger Turned Senator!? That is perfect explaination of why the GOP is as derided at the townhalls and Freedom Rallies as the Democrats are. Politics as "usual", ellitism at its worst.

I am ready to vote for someone outside of the convoluted world of the "political ellite". In fact, I cannot wait for the opportunity to do so.
