Great recipe! The only thing I’d do differently is add the feta cheese about half way through cooking so it doesn’t get so dried out.

Not everyone should be a CFI. Does every college graduate have to be a professor before they go on to get a job in their prospective industries? Of course not, that would be absurd, considering the fact that not everyone is equipped to be an instructor. The regulatory environment needs to evolve in order to make low hour jobs more accessible to new commercial pilots - otherwise, being forced into instructing simply to acquire the necessary hours to move on, instructors who shouldn’t be instructing are going to do (and already have been doing) significant harm in the industry.

So does complacency. A pilot who grinded through 1,250 hours doing VFR aerial survey work is probably going to become complacent. The sooner a pilot can get into indoc at an airline with a good safety culture, the better, IMO.

Are 1500 hour FOs really safer than, say, 750 hour FOs? a 750 hour FO isn't just a wet 250 hr commercial pilot, has some good experience, and gets into a crew environment much sooner to start building those CRM skills. Because let's be honest, another 750 hours grinding in a (more than likely) single pilot, possibly even VFR environment isn't going to make a significantly better pilot. Those 750 hours with a >1500 hr captain, however, will.

Nothing in aviation ever works for everything. It's a place to start.. a building block if you will, and then you can move into MELs and kinds of operations lists, etc.

It ain't because there's no TV show.. it's because it costs an arm and a leg, there's few jobs as a fresh commercial pilot until you can build the hours, and even when you get to the airlines, the first couple of year's pay is minuscule.

I used to think the same way as you, then I started to do a bit more pondering. Not because I'm brainwashed, but because my political beliefs have shifted to full on anarchist. So in a nutshell, I believe that geopolitical boundaries are bullshit in the first place - just artificial lines drawn all around the earth, which we all occupy, by psychopathic power hungry thugs who believe they have a right to the fruits of other people's labor just because they have bigger guns. Shitty people that run shitty governments are the only reason why countries such as the US, Greece, Britain, etc are experiencing a rapid influx of refugees (more economic refugees here than political or religious). If it weren't for that, why would they want to leave their homes? There's no reason to, if it weren't for wanting to flee shithead governments and their thugs. Therefore I submit to you that perhaps you should look at these people a little differently, and shift your paradigm to include the possibility that people will simply ignore geopolitical borders if they feel that they will have a better life by doing so, and that they are not wrong for doing so, since the borders were arbitrary in the first place. No humans have exclusivity on a particular chunk of the earth, and it's preposterous to believe that you do, just because you happened to be born there.

Yeah, I had about the same luck with adbrite as you did. I have found by testing all the contextual advertising networks that kontera is the best for blogs that don't get insane amounts of traffic (others may be better for high volume).
