Well, the tests on the camera indicate that it does really well, even with its lens, so I wouldn't be so quick to judge. I know there's drawbacks, like not being able to zoom and low macro capabilities, but for that size, it's pretty darn attractive.

I did, but the stem part broke off =(. I'm guessing that the backdrop is photoshopped in, after using a black background to take the photo. Just a guess though.

Hmm I think I read the book a few years back, when I was at home on vacation. It really makes you forget that you're reading a book. I don't remember it being creepy, but there were certainly very jarring parts.

I'm not sure I'll want to get it, but you can click through to see the first 12 pages - I read it and felt like there wasn't enough content there to pay for the book, but maybe the rest of it is better.
