Anto: that's pretty obvious, and also how private prisons and drug tests work together.
drug tests are only for cannabis users because cannabis stays in your system for 2-3 weeks while cocaine and heroine is gone in 2-3 days. private prisons are just bullshit - an industry where the AIM is to have the prisons at full capacity... that should be sending off huge alarm signals.

but what I hate is that the majority of the people have no critical thinking by themselves, never really do any research into the matter and just let themselves be led around by the nose, eating up any government propaganda bullshit they're given.

Perhaps a sense of not having done anything constructive the whole day prevents you from "calling it a day" and going to sleep, but on the other hand you are too unmotivated to do anything constructive so you procrastinate and poke around the web until sleep finally lays the smackdown in the wee hours of the morning and you lie down on your bed and fall into sleep land within seconds, giving you no time to get the "nothing achieved today" feeling.

people will always fear the unknown, and why go through the hassle of learning when you can easily and effortlessly generalize and label other people as inferior.

i remember when i first got to hong kong. the whole canto > mainlander attitude was prevalant as fuck. it was pretty bad like my dad got picked on at work and shit. no one ever thought that RMB would one day surpass HKD. and then it happened and everybody started to think mainlanders were actually pretty cool and ok people, and everyone started learning mandarin. I think its really two faced and pathetic.

i hate those chinese people that have spent so much time overseas and think that suddenly they're a better breed of chinese, and dont like to be associated with the "chinese chinese", but sort of a hip, cool, international chinese, or even wants to be called "american" or "british" or whatever and don't want to have anything to do with china, refuses to speak chinese when clearly he or she knows chinese.

also among US people, there's always something wrong with every other state other than the state they come from. "fuck *insertrandomstate*!" "*inserthomestate* is so much better!" like wtf...

can't we all just get along?

well there's a risk to everything and people who go to doctors are already in a tight spot and know of the chances of a successful operation etc. if the doctors didnt do anything the patients would have been worse off (death), so they're not depriving anyone of their lives.

as a future lawyer i think the only question you need to ask yourself is are you on the right side?
