The sub never fired on the Ward, it was attempting to follow the tug Antares into the harbor. Since it was operating in a restricted area Ward was fully justified in sinking it.

I must be looking at an abridged version, I see nothing racist in O'Reilly's comments. Bigoted, yes, but this is yet another example of how we devalue language by mis-applying terms and ignoring the definitions of the words. But then, as can be seen by the comments, crying "Racist" is the best way to inflame the rhetoric and start the cycle of accusation and recrimination that pretty much guarantees that nothing of substance will come out of the conversation. Just an observation, please continue hacking at each other...

Just bought one new for a shade under 750 at a local gunshop, with the three free mags promotion that makes the pistol quite a bargain. Fit is superb, one of the tightest machined 1911s I've handled.

Sorry, not listening to any of those sources on AGW, kinda relying on coursework on meteorology and climatology, a lifelong fascination with science (not computer models, but the actual, empirical kind) and forty plus years of watching the debate evolve. And before the shrill screeching of "settled science" and "consensus" erupts I would like to point out that "settled science" when I started my studies in college lo those many years past predicted collapse by overpopulation, collapse by lack of fossil fuels, and rampant famine and overpopulation would've taken us out by now.
