If only the participants and winners including the marshalls per se where properly investigated, questioned and reviewed before announcing the names sana hindi umabot sa ganito. Madami tuloy nadisappoint na purple hunters. Too bad. :( But still thanks Janette for letting us air out our concerns here. Hoping yahoo will address to it soon.

but still it could have been better if it was taken cared of right there and then. Everyone should be convinced that the winners are deserving and that no participants were violated and offended in anyway. It should be a fair game. And of course a t-shirt, notepads, stickers and such are still NOT at all comparable to the grand prizes. Like I've said hindi naman GC's lang or cellphone ang prize. We were just too tired and felt helpless that time.

Thank you for your reply sa concern namin. What I meant to say was that since a member of the purple crew apologized to us already and he admitted that there was an error on their part kaya he gave us tokens which we think is intended to pacify us. Anyway, to make the story short – every participant did exert an effort. Its just that for an event as big as this it wasn’t properly manned and administered and hindi nabantayan ang mga players and marshalls. Sana may mga crew rin na nagchcheck ng mga marshalls and pit stops. But I guess kulang nga sa tao. So a lot of players suffered.

I was browsing all the comments here and I can attest these are true. I am one of the 40 participants as well. Given that the rules were given out upfront during the orientation we trust that was final. Since we have agreed to it by signing a piece of paper. But during the game itself I have seen a marshall holding hands with a fellow participant. Tama ba naman yun? So there pa lang may discrepancy na. Apart from that sa 1st pit stop pa lang wala ng line so even if you got there 1st e upon discretion na lang nung nagsisign kung sino gusto nyang unahin sa dami ng mga signature cards na nakalagay sa harap nya. Same goes for the marbles – discretion na rin nung purple crew kung sino sa 5 na nsa harap nya ang gusto nya unahin. Sa balloon challenge the naman which I agree is the hardest part – the 1st violet one I got has a hole – so I got a new violet one – I was able to finish it after a few tries – malapit ng matapos when the white one popped naman – so I was able to pick a new one yung mga tinapon ng other participants sa floor and make a new balloon. So counting that only 2 balloons – 1 was defective and 1 popped. Although we weren’t advise na 2 balloons lang ang pwede. Lucky na nga lang may mga nakakakalat sa floor na akala ng iba used na so I tried one and it is not at all defective. Kawawa lang yung iba na nawalan ng balloons or yung ayaw na bigyan. After pitstop 4 (R..O.X) there weren’t any verbal instructions as advise by the purple crew after the event – we were just handed a instruction to follow which states something like “Hop on to an e-tricycle and go to entrance of the purple hunt at the Bonifacio open field – NOTE: There has to be 2 teams on board” So that is exactly what we did. The MYX Crew was even on our trike saying that we are the 1st 2 leading participant – iniinterview na nga kami. Not knowing that the driver took a longer course. When we got there we were able to finish the pitstop 5 challenge buti dun may line na. When we reached the winning car pang 5th ako. The lady there doesn’t want to sign my card anymore kasi sabi nya she only needs 3 then picture taking na sila. Wala man lang investigation. Or sana tinanong yung marshalls kung talagang nagfollow sila ng rules but as we have witnessed not all marshalls are doing their job. So we accepted our defeat na. Sana man lang they got the names of the 1st upto the 5th or 7th placers man lang para if ever there are discrepancies they could always resort to the next winner. After that a marshall of one of the winners told our marshall that they did not ride a trike – which would have been easier if we took the same route kasi sa likod na lang ng R.O.X ang bonifacio open field. Ang bagal ng e-trike considering pa na 2 participants + 2 marshalls + 1 driver + 4 myx crew ang nakasakay so sobrang bagal. May isa pang participant na nagtaxi I just didn’t know kung nanalo sya. When we raised our complain – a lady told us na they changed the rules kasi the e-trikes are doesn’t want to cooperate so there should be a verbal instruction from R.O.X. pa lang na pwede takbuhin. Firstly – we were not given any verbal instructions. 2ndly – I think the one written on the piece of paper is a more valid proof than a verbal one. And tama nga how can rules change in the middle of the game? We were given tokens by a purple crew and he apologized already but is that really acceptable to keep us quiet? Buti sana if the prizes at stake are just GC’s or cellphones pwede nay un. The other participants naman sayang hindi nya natapos yung game kasi nwala yung marshalls nla. I wasn’t able to get my consolation prize of globe tattoo rin kasi sa sobrang pagod and disappointment I’d rather go home na lang kasi it seems to me na sayang lang rin naman lahat ng effort. sorry medyo mahaba i got carried away...
