Gotta check out some of the remakes. KQ1 and KQ2 were done really well. Haven't tried 3 yet, but it was always my fave. After 5 and 6.

Gene Wilder was the best Mock Turtle, cos of his Beautiful Soup song which is at one time, sweet, oddly morbid, and a little depressing.

Also I remember there was a version of Alice in Wonderland from when I was a kid with a white knight who I really liked. I think there's something about Alice and Wonderland which fits 2 distinct modes. 1) Manic and loony 2) Bittersweetly offbeat. I remember the Alice was played by a more adult lady in this version, but I can't remember which one it is...

All about the end of the Andy Marte era. I remember when he was a major trade chip, and there were some complaints that the Coco-Andy Marte trade was horrible skewed in Cleveland's favor. These days the Red Sox look pretty smart for selling high. Any thoughts on analyzing prospects and determining their value?

How much was this guy really worth? How did the projections get it so very wrong? So very very very wrong.

Once I had a discussion with a friend of mine which revealed to me why I can't enjoy metal. You see punk is a natural offshoot of rock and roll. It is a musical form focused on rhythm and beat, working together in a short unified process.

Metal's emphasis on the solo, and lengthened songs that showcase individual, rather than group aesthetic, has only one parallel in modern musical history. Jazz. Metalheads are the jazz musicians of the electric guitar. As such, the enjoyment of metal requires a patience and appreciation of the unique abilities of each instrument.

Also weed helps in both cases.

Does that make you feel better? Cos frankly, metal blows the monkey's butt.
