One voter who voted twice. One. Out of 180,000 votes, Fox News has found all of 1 legitimate, perhaps, case of voter fraud. If Altschuler loses by one, you've got a point. That he's down by 230 means, well, once again it's Fox News just trying to make Democrats seem like the villain.

Oh, let's count every single ballot. Sure, I'm not advocating voter fraud, just making sure that we get the proper result. Hey, remember 2000? When Al Gore won Florida? When every single independent analysis that went back showed that Al Gore received more votes--and that's even with the butterfly ballots that gave Pat Buchanan a few thousand Gore votes?

I'm from the district, and I could care less who wins. They're both, honestly, great guys--I've met them both and talked with them both--I'm not entirely thrilled with the job Tim Bishop's done, but I generally think he represents our district well. Randy's a brilliant guy who would probably be an asset to moderate house Republicans, of which there are few. But please, don't allege voter fraud when it's fairly likely that there are as many scummy Republicans as there are Dems.

Let's not forget just how heinously bad the offensive line was at the start of the year. Just shockingly, painfully bad. It's not GREAT now, but they're at least functioning. If McGloin was behind the line Bolden had against Alabama, he never would've gotten us to a 14-3 lead.

They entirely cancel each other out. Matt McGloin led us to a net zero points against Ohio State.

You're obviously a McGloin apologist. My guess is you really only like him because he's white and scrappy and you're probably from NEPA. Bolden today is just as good as McGloin--at worst, maybe an iota worse. He's also been in the program since June, while McGloin's had 3 years to get to this point. Bolden never went 2-12 with 2 interceptions in a single half. His numbers against Iowa were better than Daryll Clark's in either of Clark's 2 games against the Hawkeyes. If he's not a better QB right now, he certainly will be, without any shred of a doubt, by day 1 of the 2011 season. McGloin has a pop-gun arm and the second Ohio State realized the offensive gameplan was to take 3-step drops and get the ball out quickly they started sitting on the inside routes and jumping the quick outs. That's not bad gameplanning, that's being hamstrung by a quarterback who doesn't have a division 1 arm. There's a reason he didn't get a scholarship out of high school, kiddo. Because he's really not very good.

Oh, I doubt we'll move the ball at all next Saturday, because that scaled-down playbook will have no chance against Ohio State. But hopefully it'll restore some confidence in Bolden--just like Mac's first few drives on Saturday did.

See, that's something I really can't argue with. I'm not sure that wins and losses really is the best measure of a QB (I mean, Trent Dilfer has more Superbowl rings than Dan Marino), but I understand why someone would support McGloin. I'm just almost assuming that Rob Bolden fans are the "silent majority"--Mac is getting all the love, and I'm trying to give a voice to those who support Bolden. It's not an either or situation, though.
