I'm increasingly worried about using it, especially given it's almost a year since they talked about wanting end-to-end encryption and yet here we are, still without it. I'm considering moving, but I'm not sure where to. I really do love the app, but I certainly don't like the idea of anyone having access to my data. I guess I could just switch off sync and have one copy running somewhere, but that removes a tremendous amount of the functionality. I currently write on iPhone, iPad or Mac, so syncing is important.

Re: Plex Cloud: Now Available to all Plex Pass Subscribers!

If you're going to go the route of having it locally AND in the cloud anyway, may as well just store the content as is on a local NAS and backup to Amazon Unlimited at £cheap, rather than store it in the Cloud and back it up locally.

Re: So long, app.net — markavey.com

It's a real shame, but my timeline pretty much died after the announcement. Everyone has different requirements, though.

I was seriously looking at the Transporter Sync, but can't see what it'd do for me that BTS currently isn't.

Re: Connected Data Transporter Sync Review and Ratings

That would be BitTorrent Sync :) And it's free.

Re: Our commitment to your rights and privacy

No. It was an exaggeration, of course. iOS Bluetooth Weirdness

Yes, it is odd. It also seems unique to the 5S/headphones combination.

It does happen a little with the headphones and the Mini Retina, but nowhere near as badly.

I'm beginning to think it's the distance between the phones and the device I want to listen to. Quite by chance, I today noticed that when the 5S is within a couple of feet of the phones, there's no dropout. I'll experiment some more.

Re: App Showdown: Get Productive With GTD Apps

Good comparison, but here's why I've ditched all of these (and I've tried all 3 and more) and moved to TaskPaper - http://flts.im/Ho5aMZ

Re: http://blog.windonaleaf.net/post/16869879170

That's fantastic news - Google Reader was the last thing holding me to Google.

Re: The New Woopra iPhone App Released to App Store!

Now that IS good news :) Thanks for the update and I look forward to being able to use Woopra again soon.

Re: The New Woopra iPhone App Released to App Store!

Looks great but still, after all this time, it requires non standard ports being opened (which isn't possible in my situation).
