I only see two samples of data, one from the winter and one from the summer. IAP and gaming sales more broadly suffer in the summer as people spend more time on outdoor activities and vacations.

This might also explain the higher MARPPU (monthly average rev per paying user) mentioned in the article. Those who are still playing and spending are the most committed.

Now, it's unclear exactly what the percent paying data is coming from (MAU, DAU YAU) , so that makes it harder to interpret, but I think the number may head back toward it's January value... in January.

I think we'd need to see year over year data, or at least a real trend of data, to make the conclusion I quoted above. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks.

Re: An Open Letter To Two New York Times Writers Who Don't Get San Francisco At All

Well put.

Re: An Open Letter To Two New York Times Writers Who Don't Get San Francisco At All

Haha. I'd lay a bit of fault with the editors who titled the article but in the main I think this response letter, and its superficial jabs at NYC and LA, are unnecessary.

Re: Cadillac Commercial Review: Someone Should Fix That Guy's Suit

he said create your own luck

Re: Your travel experience in 36 gifs

Thanks Miguel I love that you say that... although I've learned to never underestimate the power of a GIF.

Re: The Telling Compulsion

“Dear future generations: Please accept our apologies.
