We have yet to see companies or individuals training for the new roles they will need to hold in order for us to not have mass unemployment as AI and robots take over large segments in our workforce. It is one thing to know about something, it is another to know when and how to use it. The biggest thing being an entrepreneur for 20 years has given me as a marketer is the ability to keeping everyone ( even sometimes the business owner ) focused on aligning all actions to the business objectives.

Re: Master Class:
How to sell more
(By doing less)
Taught by Perry Marshall of 80/20 Sales and Marketing

Curious several things in this course are not available, when was last time you updated it since it is the first thing you recommend to new members?

Re: Part 2: Joining Walmart Labs as Senior Software Engineer

Which is exactly what is suppose to happen when you do what you love. I know two people listed that the business community absolutely detests. One has committed outright fraud with brands and having them make another list just causes companies to think they are "safe" to hire.

Pamela already made my other points about useless conversation and how that number can be deceiving.

I get it, you are looking for ways to spread great knowledge from active participants on twitter. There is an unknown we are dealing with and that is when you are going to have any kind of in-depth conversation, smart people get off twitter and go to another channel where they are not limited to character count.

Funny how searching for metrics can bring up deficiencies in what is being measured and how valuable it is really.

Re: Our First Blended Generation Think Tank: The Multi-generational Workplace – Can GenY, GenX and Boomers Co-Exist?

Hessie, that was a great wrap up for our conversation. It truly is funny to watch as people naturally draw lines in the sand. Why do I say naturally? Because we all come from our primitive brain as a response, it is how we are wired.

Once you or I start recognizing that consciously (how our brains are wired), then we can move into our reasoning mind and make better choices.

It was a pleasure to be a part of this conversation on google hangouts. It fit right in with one of my keynote topics I deliver, "Millennials - Uniquely Qualified for Today's Leadership."

Re: 5 Tips for Posting Pulse Articles on LinkedIn

Geoff, well done chap. An email subscription is suppose to be a communication channel between writer and reader. We ( writer ) said we'd send you a newsletter on a specific topic. Why do we do it because at some point we want you to hire us or refer someone who needs our services or products.

I agree some people are incredibly lazy and just pump out crap. It is why I have a harder time sharing blog posts. I do not throw out the baby with the bath water because I do not want to share EVERYONE'S posts.

Frankly ( turn away if you are sensitive) sometimes content is so repetitive that I do not have confidence of that blogger.
