I love those lines, it's so purposeful. I wonder if the pilothouse would benefit from being 2-3 feet higher, though, for visibility over the hump.

I don't like that it's not intuitive. Jeep already got in trouble for messing with the shift pattern a few years ago.

What was the last foreign company to enter the US market? Alfa? And only because they became part of an existing US automaker. Asian companies have been promising for over a decade to sell cars in North America, and none of them have managed it. It wasn't that long ago that Mahindra was definitely, soon, really, honestly, going to sell trucks here, but it never happened.

Ford has a long, proud tradition of diluting the Mustang name. The 2.3 made 64 HP on a dyno. This is at least a serious performance car.

Vs. Crosstrek? Maybe just that the Crosstrek has extra height during winter and the 6 speed vs. the 5 speed in the Impreza. More gears are good in lower-powered cars.
