The first step to kill American manufacturing has just been taken. Those who espouse "level playing field" and "looking out for mis-treated employees" aren't looking at the big picture. How well do these people think they will be treated with no jobs?

Bloom was sent to Harvard to learn how business works and to find out ways to infiltrate and help the unions control it. What he has forgotten (ok - or simply overlooked) is that when labor costs rise, companies lay off excess workers and begin looking harder at investments that increase productivity, not jobs. Union-oriented policies will simply drive out more jobs.

Re: Does Obama Administration Have Any Kind Of Plan To Support U.S. Manufacturers?

That's why you should never vote for a senator, much less a 'community organizer' for president! Obama and his Chicago goons have no idea how to effectively manage anything and have the business sense of a gnat!

Unless Obama brings in true business leaders (not Immelt - he should be in jail, but that's another story) and listens to them, then carries out their recommendations, it will be a long, rocky road for business for the remainder of his term in office (and then, unfortunately, then some).
