I see that the proposal was rejected on the Microformats wiki:

Do you have any response to this? The suggestion seems to be that, if the logo is visible on a page, then it should be included as part of an hCard, with a 'logo' property, or if the logo is to be included as part of the head metadata, then use rel='icon' with an SVG mime type.

This is really useful, Elijah. Can you give some more information on the security error you get? I don't get any error in Chrome 6, Firefox 3.63 or Opera 10.6 (all on Ubuntu) when modifying it to use a dataURI of the test APNG file.

The code I'm using:

Been tinkering with this. It looks good and has got some nice features. Well done and thanks for sharing it.

As others have noted, the feed item dates are not being properly parsed (so far tested feeds from Twitter and Delicious). And those Help file links are a bit hit and miss!

Do you have any plans to automatically insert tags from the feeds into the WordPress posts - e.g. if I tag a photo on Flickr, or a bookmark on Del.icio.us, and import the feed, the post will have the corresponding tags? This would be a great thing!

Here in Brighton (uk) and elsewhere, Twitter is pretty much the daily method of communication between web developers and designers - sharing experiences, asking questions, announcing trends.

Twitter is devoid of the gloss of more complex social networks. It's dead simple - yet perhaps it's the best example of portable content to date. It has more than 10 times as much use from outside the website than within it, with all sorts of novel ways to interact. Try passing your friends' timelines through Particls - and teaching it which content is interesting...

I think we'll see more widespread Twitterbots - automated services (robots) that humans can interact with via direct messages between their Twitter accounts - e.g. timer (reminds you of tasks), multimap (tells you where you need to go), or Monitwitter (tells you when your website goes offline)...

I'm not sure if you are aware that it displays a little off when the Windows font size setting has been altered. Screenshot:

I have a hi-resolution monitor, so I have Windows display a higher than normal font size. Otherwise, everything gets squished up and tiny. In Vista, the DPI setting is changed as follows:
Control Panel > Personalization > (in the 'Tasks' sidebar) Adjust font size (DPI)
