Just to stop these comments being completely one-sided …

I bought a 156 JTS last year and it was bloody terrible. Worst car I’ve ever owned. Something went wrong with it on, quite literally, every journey. I scrapped it less than four weeks later, deciding it wasn’t worth spending money on.

I’m not suggesting the 156 JTS was inherently a bad car, but the one I bought was a real lemon. I wouldn’t go near one again.

1955 Porsche 550, maybe? Definitely a 550 anyway, but the year could be anywhere between ’53 and ’56. I’m basing my ’55 guess on the steering wheel.

Favourite takeaway comes down to the quality of service and food. But just when you think you have it solved, when you think you have found takeaway nirvana … something goes wrong. The chef changes. Or the new driver always gets your address wrong. Or the whole business is sold and the new owners buy cheap ingredients … You have to start hunting again. You need another favourite. Back to Just-Eat and experimentation. At least you are always here.

You didn’t mention that in the opening credits, we see the dam healing up – a gigantic fissure melts away as we watch. Is that as simple as being a time-lapse of the original, failed, dam being replaced with an identical new structure? Doubtful, as the original would have been smaller and older in style. Something else is afoot there.

Nah, I know three Countachs still in regular use just around Glasgow, let alone around the UK. I have a friend who still drives his Countach QV regularly. It’s a thing of jaw-dropping beauty.

I love the fact that this type of dog is almost universal. The 'doggiest' dog. The ur-dog.

I'm in Scotland and my girl is called Riley. She's a mixture of border collie, bearded collie and whippet. Lives her life just the same - herding people and other dogs, owning tennis balls, and generally being f'ing adorable.

Cheap domains, free subdomains, ubiquitous hosting services, free content-hosting services … these things all make personal microsites and temporary websites very appealing. The number of people I know who register domains for their wedding, for instance, is growing exponentially.
